Graham England
I am a private client lawyer with over 40 years experience working in Spalding, Boston and now Holbeach. I initially qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and I was then admitted as a Solicitor in 1996. I have been a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) also since 1996. I have been a partner in some of the leading local law firms and more recently the Director of Legal Services with a leading Accountancy practice. I have also run my own niche private client practice. I have spoken at Conferences and Seminars on my specialisms and written articles for professional publications.
I qualified as a Notary Public in 2012, although I am now non practising to enable me to focus on my legal work.
My specialisms include:
- writing wills
- administering estates on death
- preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
- creating and administering Trusts
- advising high net worth individuals on Inheritance Tax mitigation
If you must deal with a lawyer it surely helps if you can deal with someone you can get on with and talk to and, dare I say, even like? Expertise in law, and attention to detail should all be a given. My aim throughout my career has been not just to offer sound advice, but to get to know my clients, to be approachable, to be proactive and not just reactive.
Robert Sharp
Robert is a Solicitor and the Head of the firm’s Civil Litigation Department. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986 and has specialized in personal injury and civil litigation work for over 30 years. He was appointed a Member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel in 1996 and a Litigator Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers in 2005 and is an accredited solicitor by The Treasury Solicitor (Solicitors to Government Departments). He has also assisted the Force Solicitor of West Yorkshire Police on a number of occasions most notably when his Deputy was second to the Metropolitan Police for the duration of the 7/7 Inquests in 2010 and 2011 as well as 3 other Police Forces.
Robert can help you with claims for or against you for compensation arising from accidents (whether typically at work on the road or following trips or slips) and industrial disease, disputes of all kinds including, contract (private or commercial), employer/employee, neighbour, shareholder, building, wills and probate, landlord and tenant and professional negligence (medical or otherwise). He is equally comfortable advising and assisting corporate bodies as well as individuals.
Robert’s prime motivation and the reason he became and enjoys being a Solicitor is helping those “wronged” who instruct him to get the best and quickest result possible preferably by negotiation but if not then full and effective use of both the law, civil procedure rules and courts. He prides himself in making this process as stress free and economical as possible for his clients. He is therefore happy to work on a “no-win, no-fee” basis in appropriate circumstances and endeavours whatever case funding basis is adopted to make the dispute resolution process both user friendly and “understood” for his clients.
Robert is a sport fanatic playing cricket and golf as well as being a keen supporter of the Bradford Bulls since before he could walk
